Default My setup!

Heres my Technomate 9100s!
80cm lidl dish on technomate 2200,Getting 42E to 58W

Also my Silvercrest sl65,What a compact receiver it is!
And my Thomson Skybox

Im currently looking at a another dish, a 1mtr Orbital or a 110cm triax!
probably the 1mtr Orbital due to the motor!

Then Il put the lidl dish back on 28E(iv left the old bracket up for when I buy a new dish) and motorize the the 1mtr+ dish

Heres 1 more

I still have to tidy up the cable! I got too dark when I was setting it up so I just left it!

I only found 13E by luck and then sent the motor there and found it again!Even tho im getting getting 42E to 58W would it be worth it to fine tune it at 8W(my due south sat!)??

Im getting reasonable Signal from digi tv buy could be better!

the 1m dish would be a good choice and i would suggest going with a gibertini 1m dish these are lightweight for less stress on the motor

you can do but best would be to fine tune it on a weaker satellite like 1west and then go around to 19, 16, etc and around to 42e to check the end of the arc is correct

do you have that dish?
How much usually?I consider the 1mtr orbital fairly cheap so I was looking at that!
EDIT: after reading for 2/3 mins iv decided that the 1mtr gibertini would be a good buy! apparently much better that the orbital!

@ Ray I think If the gibbi is more expensive than the Orbital why not go for it as from reports I read places it in a league above the Orbital

Its also a lot more expensive. You could also give the Fracarro Penta dish a go. Its only about 78cms but it performs aswell as a 1m apparently.

Just make sure you get the right lnb for it. I used some Triax 0.3db ones on 2 68cm pentas, and they really didn't perform that well, where as the 0.6db Televes one was really well matched to the dish and it performed really well

Won't be long before you find else what the TM9100 can do Bam

gibertini dishes i think are a bit more but they are aluminium dish face unlike the triax td110 which is pretty heavy made of all steel

the gibertini can be upgraded to polar mount and 36volt motor too which is handy for people in exposed locations to the wind

not sure where in ireland you might get one from, i'm sure good sat shop over there will sell them.

Ebay is the only option!
