hey all
i just got a Motorola sb5101e with haxorware 1.0rc6 i have set it up with a 20mb mac and the config file posted by 5av1dg312 but the thing is i only recive around 5.8mb down and 900kbs up i have tried this on multiple macs and i have tried other 20mb configs but i still get the same speed.any help would be a appreciated.

update your network card drivers, try off peak.

Natta, you havnt tried it on 20mb macs have you? I havnt given you any unless you got some from other forums.

hey ^^

yep im using the 20 mb macs that AciidSn3ak3r gave me i have just updated the modem to 2.4.5.1 and for off peak hours erm i was up till about 1 last night still reciving 5.8mb seems to be all times =(

update drivers for network card, ive had bad drivers give like 2mb or so before

ok i have updated the drivers but again still reciveing same speed 5.8mb i have just had a thought for some reason i cant use ethernet cable from the modem to my pc it just dosnt pick up any signal i have to use a usb cable to get a signal is there a diffrence in using usb and ethernet cable speed wise ?

yes, usb is slower i was just about to ask if you were using usb.
