Default RTE problems Dublin Starview 3

I've had a search around and I haven't been able to find anyone else who has had the same problem so I'm hoping someone here can help....

I have a starview 3 and all the channels are working fine except 101-104 (RT* 1, RT*2, T*3, TG*) and Living and Paramount (though I have the +1 version of both channels for some reason).

The channels missing don't appear in a scan/rescan. Do i have to manually track them down? How is this done?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Have you looked for them at the end of your normal channel list?

EG: If you have your channel list in alphabetical order, look for them between Z & A

Did you try doing a restore factory default before doing a full re-scan?

Thanks for the quick replies...

Didn't find the channels anywhere on the alphabetical list.

Did the factory reset before scanning again but no luck.

I did have the channels before alright. They disappeared around the same time as N*L changed the codes before Christmas if that's any hint?

Don't look for them alphabetically, look at the channels that start after Z but before A.

As Martin said its a problem with that specific TP for your area/provider and the SV3 sometimes.

You need to do a manual scan at 339.500 Mhz. Press menu - press installation - Manual scan. Input frequency as above, make sure SR is 6887. Enable Network scan.

Channels will appear once scan is completed.

Whammo. Thanks a million guys. The manual scan fixed it. As usual, the forums come to the rescue. These boxes would be useless without you experts staying up till 1am helping noobies like me.

Happy new year!
