Hi all, I've just received my new Starview 4 box and followed the instructions to set it up. I get all the normal freeview channels fine but on the premium ones, I just get a message saying 'data is being updated' and nothing seems to be happening, it's been like this for about 12 hours now.
Has anyone got any ideas please? You help would be much appreciated! |

Thanks for telling him "how" to switch it on guys.
Press menu (ignore everything on the screen) and then press 1,5,7,0 This should take you in to another menu hopefully and make sure EMU is switched to ON, exit and go to a $ channel eg SS1 and see if it updates. If that doesn't work go into menu and the system info and post on here what it says in there.

your firmware is out of date, latest is 1.07 (but 1.05 will do)

you need to put the latest firmware .bin file onto your usb stick then connect your stick to the usb port of the box and load it to your box
quoted from another post press the menu button on the remote there you will see USB at the bottom of the screen. Just highlight USB with the remote then you will see the (Box Super USB Bin file) appear on the screen. Highlight the Box Super USB Bin File with the remote and press the ok button then you will see the file start loading in to the Box. |
