Probably the most obvious question in the world - I have searched but can't find an exact thread.
We want to save money and so are thinking of switching our Sky subscription off. We only have a basic package and as far as I'm aware paid a one-off fee for Sky+ and don't pay a monthly fee for it. If we stop paying, which channels would we still get? Would we still get the live pause and record facilities that we currently get with Sky? Thanks for any help. L |

If you cancel your sub then the recording feature is disabled, AND any recordings of pay channels you have made become unavailable.
The free channels will still be available on the box, (but you wont be able to record them). If you are desperate to keep the record facility on the free channels then you can pay Sky a tenner a month fee to keep it active.
