Help and advice please

I have a Eurovox Max V at the mo which is great and no probs, but I have brand new Samsung V box and V card that has never been used nor has the card ever been activated.

Can anything be done with this to give me a second box?
I'd be very grateful for any help.

Is the box modded mate? If so, you can programme the card, split the cable feed in your EV and have both boxes set up at the same time. However, to programme the card, the box and the card will need to be paired and you'll need the BK and IRD.

Cheers mate.

The box is brand new, unmodded, the card is not activated i.e. I hav'nt phoned them up to register it, but it is the card that they sent with the box.
They sent me this 6 months ago free of charge and did'nt want it back when I told them I was not interested.
When you say the card needs to be paired, is that done at the time you phone them up or does it come paired with the box?

I'm not sure about that mate...I'd imagine that it would come paired when you activate it but if you do this, then you'll run the risk of them finding out you have a modded box etc so I don't think it would be worth the risk. I've always dealt with STBs with paired cards from external sources (i.e. not NTHell/VM).

It would be interesting to know though, whether the pairing takes place before despatch or when you phone up to register.
