Hi guys,

I've got a skydigibox now with a card subsrciption card, put the card in the digibox until i could get channels/listings and have now put the card in the card slot on my TM6900 & cannot get the Channel 4 HD to work?? When i put the card in it says something like 'smart card initialising' but Channel 4 HD just shows up as a scrambled channel. Am i missing somehting here??

Have you patched the box?, it needs to be.

Also if the Sky card has not been used for a while, it will require being left in the digibox overnight or so to get it fully updated.

It is patched i think, don't know what with though. Which patch should i be using/is the best (if there are lots of them!!)?

I presume i can stick the correct patch on stick & upgrade it using the USB?

Do i put the Sky card in the card slot or in the slot in the Diablo cam or does it make no difference? Cheers

Just load the latest MAGIC patch from Alsat and it should work. The TM6800/6900 don't need the Diablo to work with Sky, so you can just shove the card into the card slot.

I have the TM6800HD (not super) and it works without problem. I'm assuming of course, that the TM6900 super or not does the same.

Press the Menu button and select system information, it will tell you what version you have.If you have not got the latest, yes, stck it onto a USB stick, and then select USB Data transfer, select it and it should load in a minute or so. File must be unzipped first.

Just had a look just says s/w version 6.64p (Nov 17 2008)....is this the latest version?

I believe the latest is 667p - but yours should work
