Can anyone help me set up my ambit 255 modem loaded with infinite ?

Step by step guide anyone ?

It wont work just by pluging in the power , ethernet & coax cable. So what do i do from the beggining?

Any help will be really apreciated !

Search up the Cable Modem Bible.. eveything you need will be in it..

It's an interesting read..

The basic thing is you need a MAC address from a different UBR.. you will understand more when you read it

just use the ambit tool(configurator) to set it up imput your details into the tool & 1 click it sets it all up for u

You need to scan for some MAC addresses... use dhcp sniffer.. enter a mac from another ubr and it will sniff macs out for you.. the macs you get should work for you.. there is a guide for the program too

to load the mac onto the modem you can use a program called ambit config tool... its simple for first timers.. theres a guide for this also

brute forcing doesnt work on telewest.

I'm in a pure area and i cant force configs as of yesterday now..
