digivoxxl regarding flashing

cant seem to flash my digivox xl got all relevent files and downloader 10,got rs232cable with usb adaptor tried it on all ports but only seems to want to work on port 4,am using laptop with vista on it,just says d/load failed after about a minute,i have no problems flashing eurovox max and eurovox pvr with same equipment

go to start menu
right click on my computer
select properties
click on the hardware tab
click on device manager
click the sign next to ports(com&lpt)
one of the listed ports should indicate
which port your usb adaptor is connected to
e.g. com 1 com 2 com 3 etc..
you should be able to transfer data once the correct port is selected.
its worth a try!!

As far as I know you use a straight through rs232 with the digivox and not the null modem used for eurovox.
