I have been offered a pre programmed chip ready to go for £10 delivered so think I will opt for that as saves messing around just get someone to solder it in.

if you are in pure area m8 hold down (( OK,LEFT,RIGHT AND STANDBY )) while applying the power cable at the back wait till on screen says LD:6 then let the buttons go and wait for few seconds about 10-20 sec the box will restart its self then go to eng menu and set your pin to what ever you want m8

Thanks for that but it did not work, I get an AL:01 at start but a a LD:6 so not sure.

you could use a bit of ingenuity, starrt from 1958 then go up to the present day, people usually put there date of birth

why 1958 spikey, do 50 year olds not use cable,lol,only jokin thats a good idea though. What does happen is you enter your pin wrong 3 times, does it just lock you out for a while or do you have to reset the box ect?

Have you tried 1000 as iv noticed cable engineers set it to that a lot?

This works on a Sammy only mate im pretty sure any way.
