Default How Do U Unlock the Pin Code from V+ Box?

I purchased a V+ box that has a pin code locking the channels, I have tried 0000, 1111, 1234 but nothing. I have been told to switch off box and hold down up and down arrows along with ok button and standby and box will reset itself but it has not worked.

Does anyone know how to reset this?

if it doesnt accept the atmega netid and pin (and i dont fancy your chances) the 512 is the only way.

Even in pure? I suppose the problem I got then is the person who's original subbed box this was put a pin code in. I would have thought there must be a way of getting rid of it otherwise when VM collect their boxes they would have to change the chip on each of them before they refurb them and send them out.

i like your thinking. there prob is, but we dont know what that 'way' is.

that way would prob be what they do when you ring the pin helpline when your locked out. they just send a pin reset hit to the box via the mac or ip of the box on the net

(thats a joke btw)
