Just got a chartmans wand for a pace 4010 ive got the tut on how to solder it in but should i leave the talkback enabled or cut it before i install magic wand ?

just read about this product this morning ,what a weird one it is.
Why is using this product any different from just keeping tb uncut,I just dont get it?
Either way the box will get blacklisted eventually,I think, or am i missing something here?

i dunno it depends how long the box is active for maybe god nose , weather it has something to do with cutting you off whilst talkback is enabled , i just dont know ?

Long time since i read up on this piece of kit but i think you can enable talkback to order your on demand stuff and it automatically disconnects every 30mins or so unless you re-enable it
Strange bit of kit and peeps are just askin for trouble using it!!

Modding rules
1.Never mess with a subbed box
2.ALWAYS cut talkback

yea mate something like that, you can enable & disable talkback but i just cant see the benefits from using it,apart from ondemand of course but you could just leave tb uncut for this(Something i dont do btw).
Does this Wand stop the box from getting blacklisted or something? Im thinking not,if so then why use it,anyone?

lol,i seem to be asking allot of questions but im just a little baffled by this,first i heard about it this morning. i understand it was out a few years ago but im just surprised that its still going

Yeah i got it working it disables ip and dhcp on or off , got on demand working if switch on

Anyone got a wand working , ive installed it into my 4010 and it enables and disables my talkback ok coz if i turn it on then boot into eng menu ive got ip , if off on boot no ip , but when i try and purchase on demand it says service temperary unavailable error 1094 or summet .Any ideas cheers
