I deleted and reinstalled everything. Then purchased DVBviewer Pro. All is working good on 28.2. Now I need to get my 1W feed working. Is it as simple as adding the sat to serverpc?

OK.

This is what I have learned, and I am posting it here as a reference for other noobs, like myself, who make a mess out of something simple.

server4pc is not needed. And as suspected is used solely for satellite broadband. I have now deleted it from my registry so it doesn't start up everytime. I managed to easily get channels from 28.2E, but 1W struggled. I think my dish may have moved, it is a temporary set-up. I am waiting for some trees to be cut, but nothing can be done until Spring.

I have now got Thor 2&3 Scanned into my channel list. Viewing BBC World News. Good stuff. Now to get the next part of my setup finished.... And then working in media centre.

This was supposed to be easier. Cheers for your help guys.

Bought it a few months ago, so I get free upgrades. It really is worth the cash just for the network streaming if you have more than 1 PC in the house.

Windows Media Center? I can't even get that to recognise my SkyStar 2 even with the Vista TV Pack installed.

I'm very happy with DVB Viewer, no need for Media Centre for me.
