Hi there

I have an Hp Pavilion dv2000 Entertainment PC I originally had windows xp and I upgraded to windows vista every since I have been experiencing many problems i.e. sound issues etc I just wanted to format reinstall it back to its original state I have come 2 realise that it didn’t come with system restore disk it was copied on the partition on the laptop which is now erased due to a vista upgrade can anyone help me

Where can I download or get system restore disks?

f you can get a hold of windows xp you can reinstall using your own xp seriel key which should be on a sticker on your pc

You get restore disks by making them as soon as you buy your laptop. If you didn't it will have to be a standard copy of XP and like lambo says use the key for yours.

Try going to the place where you brought it from and if they are kind enough they may give you a restore cd with xp and all your drivers for your laptop. Contact them its worth a shot.
