Default pace 2000/ can these issues be resolved

Hi all

I have a pace 2000 bx thats started to go wrong on me..
First of all, the remote only works for the first ten mins of the bx bein turned on ( after this ,the remote sensor seems to freeze and the remote doesnt work).
Also, the bx looses its network id ( goes to all zeros)
Im guessing the remote sensor in the bx is naff, but can this be fixed??
No idea whats up with the net id..
Not sure weather to bin it but thought id check if it could be repaired first.
Thanxs r

anything can be repaired bro

loosing net id is common fault in pace boxes eh

as for sensor have you looked @ the solder points of it inside the box ??

also just make a funcard net id setter up and keep next to box for when it falls over again

also you have tryd a diff remote eh ??

Hi

Its the x6501 crystal centerish of board let me know if you want the pic.

If you warm the can up it might reslove the problem as it has worked for some people when they have warmed it with a soldering iron or removing the can off completley by gently pulling it off with some pliers.

Or as has been said Rs components pasts only 25p but delivery steep, I believe maplin do them now dont think they did when I ordered one for a m8 from Rs.

Dont take the old crystal off I just soldered new one on top and its been working fine for me m8.

Regards
