What's the best/most accurate site to test dl speed?

I'm getting conflicting results.

download some game files from virgin- they tell u to do this when u phone them (with speed issues) to test your speed, il try and find a link to them, i used to use speedtest.net but its crap nowdays for some reason

I still use speedtest nought wrong wit it. Works great for me.

Don't forget to repeat the test from source server if you're doing it more than once

hi m8 i am on 20mb if i use any speed test i get half that i use newsgroups for d/l and i get a full 20mb 24/7 so i would say newsgroups
theres another here to try but only says i am on ten

Yeah i think Newsgroups is best for checking your download speed. If not go to somewhere like the virgin servers or the Microsoft servers.
