i have a eurovox max and when i switch it on i have 4 dots and a dash it works every now and again the box but when i pull the plug out of the socket when i put it back on the next day i get 4 dots and a dash and sometimes it will display the letters PEAA my box is not a clone as it used to update itself can anybody help me or tell me what is wrong with the box

have you tried the search for peaa you may find that there are many posts regarding this error message so to save going over old ground try it.

PEAA usually means you put the incorrect software do a factory reset and re-flash with firmware again and make sure you have correct firmware.
