By unticking tftp cfg, u no longer get to change config file??? or am i doing something wrong???

Thats right.

When you untick force config from tftpip, you dont need the tftpip address or the config file name.. the mac does the work.. dont know how.

But... when using the modem without a forced config you must use a proper 20mb mac..

This is what i do, and thats what works,

I managed to change mac and it work for a bit then disconnected, now ive gone back into ambit config tool to try another and just get "tcp connection failure", ive changed no settings etc, but cant get it to work again, any clues guys n dolls??

p.s whilst changeing macs i leave connections on modem (power,ethernet n cable) is this ok???

when changing the mac just leave in the ethernet and the power, thats all that is needed..

tcp connection failure maybe your firewall, even windows firewall,, make sure it's off.. then try again

and i think this is my 100th post, woop woop
