why even bother typin that? obviously it uses scarts, where or how are they set up? im just getting a picture of a scart on my dbox display.

I had mine set up to do this a while back

connect the scart from the dbox to the scart on the back of the dvd recorder that says imput/decoder or av2
then connect the other scart slot on the dvd recorder (on mine marked AV1)to the TV scart

word of warning you will only be able to record from the dbox the channel you are watching or is on the dbox if you wanted to watch another channel you would have to change the channel over on the tv

P.S Whereabouts in wigan you from m8??

P.P.S I have got a d box 2 and it is running on the blade trinty programme , is it worth updating it or best to leave it alone while everything is working with it??

Hi Macabre

If its working and your happy with it leave it alone as i have said before some boxes are not happy with certain images so if i find 1 that works best to stick with it
