Hi Guys

I have flashed surboards some years ago . I recently got asked to flash a 4200 for a friend but can not for the life of me get it to flash via the hack page .
I can get up the page 192.168.100.1 without the hack page . Netboot runs smoothly finds the right vxworks and disconnects. But the when I try to access the hack page I just get a web page saying file not found .

Any info welcome .

I have had this before, only way I could sort it was a max 232 mate

try the fix file useing blackcat then use netboot it should work no probs and if that dosent invest in usbjtag sorry ment to ask have you network connections set at 192.168.100.10 before use neboot

I did have a 232 years ago but cant for the life of me find it . I havent got a blackcat either so it looks as it it will be staying unflashed for the near future .
Why is nothing ever staight forward.
Also while Im on can I just ask is there anyway of forcing a config on my sb4100 using the hack page to the config that isnt throttled when you reach your download limit or would this require blackcat or 232 lead aswell

sorry cant help you with your problem with forcing the config file sb4100 but dont give up on useing net boot try downloading a new one had the same problem just dont give up can take a few tries before u get it right
