If you are useless at soldering (like me lol) go for the DMS4 Ezi Pro, it's totally solderless as it just clips onto the motherboard. If you can solder small wires onto PCBs, go for something like the Alladin-XT or Duo-X 2. You could always skip the modchip option and go for Swap Magic or a memory card exploit. The exploit only works on Fat PS2s though.

I've got an old PS2 knocking about, I think I'll look in to the memory card exploit ;-)
