Default Beginner question from titanium to Funcard

Hi,

I'm complete newbie to this so sorry for the thick questions...

I've just bought my first programmer (USB Phoenix) and Funcard 4. I've had a modded box for a couple of years that had a titanium 2 card with it - that stopped working recently.

What I'm trying to do is the follow:

1. Somehow get the bk & ird from my titanium 2 card. I think with MKfind - I'll have to read further.
2. Once I've got these, I'll program a Fun card (will have to read up too).

Does that sound like the right steps?

Cheers.

Exactly rite.

Read your tit card to get your details as you said the bk and ird then use there to program yourself a fun card.

Note that the files used for programming tit and fun cards are different so make sure you use the correct one.

There is a funcard tutorial available on the forum.

Hello mate , Any chance the bk is wrote underneath or inside your box?have a we look, its 16 digits long.

When did the box go off,November by any chance

You just need to read your card to get your bk, ill let someone else explain how as i have never used a tit card & i dont want to fook it up on ya .

You can get your ird from a sticker on the box or from the engineers menu.

What kind of box you got anyway?

I've got a Samsung 2100C....

I've just checked the bottom of the box and there is a number there - but its 32 digits long. At the back of the box there is a similar number but that is 16 digits long beginning with S

Is that the box key?

I've been reading the forums and it seems the alternative way to find it from the card would be to:

run winexplorer 5
put the card in the programmer
load the script file saveeep
run the script
save the file as extEEprom.bin
read the saved file in Nagrae-edit select rom10 and look in data editor....

I will give this a go in a few minutes unless the above is my box key...bit nervous I don't wipe out my card!

Thanks!

na mate , it is only 16 long & will be wrote by marker or pin. I dont think any start with S , may be its a 5?
Do what jimbo has said above , put prog in phoenix mode & try to read with nagra edit- once read(If it reads) click on data editor to get your details

Thanks guys.....now I'm stuck...

I couldn't read it directly with nagra edit - so I extracted the data using winexploer and saved the bin file....

I opened up nagra edit and opened up the file fine but now I need to select the Rom image or something to view the data editor - how do I do that??

Thanks

Do you get a pop up asking "select card image type" - just select rom11

You might just need to change dates or put the latest flash on your card to get it going again.

Remember to make a backup of the image you have saved from your card mate

I get this in NagraEdit:

Unknown ROM type
File opened: extEEprom.bin

How do I select the ROM type?

Thanks
