thanks ste0ey,

only getting a flashing receive status light when modded modem connected.

have looked at mctazz's excel file tutorial for this 250 config tool but still no joy.

have to keep swapping coax between modems hence delay in getting back.

you dont have a 250, or the infinite firmware.

so why are you using the 250 config tool?

also, haxorware doesnt run on the 5100.

get correct details and start again so you can be helped.

and dont listen to the person above, hes wrong.

Right, first steps.

Connect only power and ethernet (dont connect to coax/virgin)

set pc ip address to 192.168.100.10 and subnet of 255.255.255.0

then try and goto http://192.168.100.1 in your browser.

tell me results from that and what leds are solid and which are blinking.

goto restore factory settings and reboot.

then go back into haxorware page when modem has rebooted, then goto freq page.

select "both" in top box, "europe" in second.

then enter the following based on what area you are in...

Telwest:
331000000
339000000

NTL Pure:
402750000

EX C&W:
586750000

connect coax then save then reboot, all lights should come on and online should be blinking after a few seconds.
