Default Samsung 2110c Advice

Hi all,

I have the Samsung 2110c and have been using the samsung 2110c tut file to get this box up adn running again.

i have a few questions i need clearning up first.

Now i have removed the talkback caps from the board i now need to blank the chip.

Can anyone recommend an adapter for the willem45 to reprogramme these chips?

Then all i would need to do is reprogramme the card and everything should work?

What would i need to do this? an Infinite phoenix USB card programmer?

thanks for any help

Yes this card is paired *i presume*

This was once a fully working *hacked* box but has recently gone down.

If i'm correct all i need to do is reprogramme the card (rom11) with a new image that i've created using my ird, BK, netid and freq?

is there anything else that will need doing to receive all channels?

thx

what card you got with it mate , it might only need the dates set if it only went down recently or did it go down in november?

you should only need to purchase a programmer(Infinite phoenix USB a good one & cheap)

Expiry & rights dates which make the card go off, sometimes they need changed to make the card run again.

There was a hit in november time which knocked out funcards, opos cards ect but mosc's(Modified original smart cards) stayed on. If your card went down at this time then im gueesing its not a mosc you are using, what card are you using??

Ah we're using MOSC's so it should be fine.

Also what's the danger in not removing the talkback resistors on the bottom of the 2110c board?

The boxes that we have had done all have the talkback resistors still in place.

cheers

if your using a mosc then it must need its date set. You need to read your card in nagra edit, change the expiry or rights dates to sometime in the future, write image back to card & hopefully it works.

ALWAYS CUT TALKBACK AS THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF THE BOX WILL GET BILLED & YOU WILL GET IN TROUBLE
