Default Where to buy pre-flashed CAM

Hey,

Does anyone know where to purchase a CAM pre-flashed with joker 0.79 as Hisat have stopped pre-flashing them due to legal issues.

Thank you

i just tried to flash a blue zeta for a member on here with the joker 0.79 firmware using a cas2+.....some cams connect and flash some don't for whatever reason, this one wouldn't connect. After trying quite a few attempts using all the techniques i've used in the past - squeezing cam / contacts etc - i gave up....i then tried the funcard method and it worked it flashed the blue zeta v.2C272x firmware - changed the cam bk to match my img and all channels cleared

therefore you don't need a cas interface or the joker firmware use a fun with the zeta firmware and do it yourself.....ps i used a fun 5, think you may have to use 2 fun 4s as the memory ain't big enough

cheers

Hi, Twintown

Firstly, thanks for all your efforts. You are a diamond; many thanks.

Unfortunately, I am having problems; namely that DVBdream, prog or Mytheatre wont detect the CAM is inserted (empty slot) (I also tried a spare CI interface card to be sure)

COuld you tell me if the CAM should be detected wether a fun is inserted or not? - That would rule out any funcard mistakes I may have made .I would have thought that the CAM should be detected regardless of funcard?

Secondly, If I download the Camloader and update files for V2c272 in advance of getting another cam (future )

Is it just a case of sticking the camloader funcard in the cam or is there another step (I have read you get a message "press 1 or 2" or something which indicates you are using a prog.

NNNNB How would you spread image over 2 funs?

edit. Ok Infinity USB can do it. OMG I have just bought one. -bye bye parallel programmer( I must stop doing this)...Still dont understand how the fun 5 (ok I bought one of these too..Mrs Dancake is going to go mental) will load the CAm without user input?

should detect cam with or without fun inserted....

got the "use ci interface" checked in my theatre? try ritzdvb....

i used inf proggy to flash the fun....use a fun 5, straight forward....there are 2 files for a fun 4 i think pt 1 and pt 2 think the cam tells u to insert 2nd card 1/2 way thru flash....

cheers

Yes I made sure I ticked CI in Mytheatre , but I just get "Empty Slot"

I tried Ritz briefly but I had a problem recognising the TT-1500, so it started in software mode.

The TT-MCE tools interface looked more promising (If you click on one of the tabs it will say "Cam inserted, please wait" but nothing else )

So where does this "insert card 2 message come from? ; is it a generic popup in windows or a message within, say the CI menu of Mytheatre??"

..What worries me is that this cam was working. Is my TT-1500 fubar?
