Chris Evans to host new 'TFI'-style show

Chris Evans is to make a full-time return to TV presenting with a new show for ITV.

Oh No It's Sunday, airing in a prime Sunday slot from the autumn, promises to blend discussion of the week's events with special guests and live music.

Evans, who is also producing the show with his company UMTV, explained: “ONI Sunday is a live end of the week show confirming the nuttiness of Planet Earth and the people who live in it, as the majority of us continue to scrabble around wondering what the hell it is we are doing here!”

Claudia Rosencrantz, controller of entertainment at ITV, added: “I'm delighted that Chris is back hosting his own show. We got him back on air earlier this year for The Brits 2005 and it’s wonderful that he’s now returning to host his own show again.”
