I have a usb slot in my dvd player, what im wondering is if anyone knows a reason my external hardrive doesnt work in it.

i have atried a flash drive with a music fil on it and it works, but when i plug in my external hard drive it doesnt seem to read it. now it defi works because i use it in my laptop so does anyone know why it cant be read on the dvd.

Hi was just on about this today I got new tv + dvd then went out and got a 500gb cyclone media player from maps. I use the usb and if work's great

HI

I think you will find out that some players have a capacity limit.I had a dvd player a few years back which would only take a stick upto 1GB.
