Hi,

What dish do you have?
Where are you located?

If you are picking up Sky encrypted channels, it means that the dish is too far east by a smidgin, try moving it west a bit with the motor.

Try the trick of setting your Arabsat to say 25.6e instead of 26e - such that Arabsat is less susceptible to swamping from 'Sky' at 28e.

Please dont write in txt - it makes the post almost impossible to read for us older members.

90cm dish is too small for the MBC channels if you are in the UK.

BTW - a lot of the interesting stuff has been moved Badr 6 which is impossible to receive in the UK wthout a VERY big dish.

I used to get MBc on 26E on a 90cm just 20 mins down the road from you (East) on a Fortec Star 90cm fom Maplins. If the dish is a Triax TD110, I must admit, for some reason the dish struggles with MBC on 26E. The 1m Orbital dish I also have does better.

Well I'm well north of you up in west yorkshire. I have a funke 1m dish and if I peak my dish I can watch the mbc channels with a db800. I was watching on friday night and apart from the hight winds flexing the dish when it was gusting I had a cracking picture.

hmm. ic. Analoguesat, i have a 1.1m dish, and Robbo seems to pik up the channels and he lives 20 mins from me.

i will try changing to 25.6 degrees.

O forgot to mention that my sky dish is quite close to my dish. Both on the grass in the garden.

Could this affect it?

many thanks for ur replies

Ah I misread your post due to the appalling spelling in it
