Default NG adsl DG834G to NG WGR614

Hi evryone,

Not sure if this is the right area its a cable specific question thou not really to do with modems thou. Anyway ive got a sky re-bagged netgear adsl DG834G router and am now in a VM area using cable, on netgears site they use the WGR614 as there cable router but the two seem to be the same router just with different firmwares.

Now ive not confiremed this im waiting on it from them but you can tell . Has anyone had any exsperience with the two routers i want to flash the adsl one into the cable one as i have tried to use it and it works with my modem plugged into just one of the lan sockets but the performance of the router isnt that great as it is and the diognostics page seems to stick all the time and its hard to both FIND and SET Ip's for equipment, the router itself ect ect i suspect this is because its currently geared around to adsl. thank you for any help recived on this it would be a shame to waste a router.
