Do you have to remove then replace with new the 8 legged chip on the board,or can it be reprogrammed using the card.

no m8 u can leave the chip on ...... have a read thro the tuts on here

you can use fun or atmega with box to change the pin and netid. only if you have the correct box key though

'@ rawsy m8 i THINK iv just got my bk for this model ... i want to now m8 plz if u can tell me what order to get it working in.....i now i DONT have to change the net id as im in PURE . but how do i change the pin & update it ..... do i "> use netidfuncard put details in there .e.g pin bk & ird", (do i leave out netid?) > then put onto eng menu put card in wait for update & pin 2 change, > then take card out, put new/same card back in with latest au fun flash & file containing bk & ird / would have to re-programm the card first b4 putting it back in of course . phewwww right think thats all m8... hope u can understand it lol .. iv gotthe phoenix programmer, iv done 1 pace b4 & still abit of a novice m8 .....thanks if u can help
