You need to read the stickies, that's what they're there for.

A reputable seller would would also include the instructions that you need with your receiver in order to get you up and running. Read the stickies though to learn more.

Start with Ronsters guide for Flashing, you then need to go back to the main Forum page and under UK Cable go to Private FTA and open the Some Download sticky. Scroll down to Eurovox and copy the web link and paste it into your browser and it will open up the box.net menu. Select the EX5100 folder and it will take you to the file you need to flash your box.

I've hijacked this thread rather than start a new one...

I saved my fav channels to my eurovox 5100, but after a number of days they reset to (what I presume is) the default favourite channels.

Is this a problem with all these machines or is there a way around it?

hi mate

the favourites is the least of your problems trust me

That box will end up in the bin pretty much soon I was assume. I dont know if you know this but as you are aware alot of areas are now out of action...So if you only just bought that box then its not going to be long before you have to put in the bin

As far as the issue your having well I would suggest you flash it with the latest image, and Enjoy the Free TV days while it lasts.

Thx unadkat...

I have had the box for about 8 months and flashed it when I got it (so I have had my moneys worth).

I just wanted to know if there was a way around this problem, I'm sick of resetting my favourites almost every week.
