HI
trying to find out which is the correct nagra serial to right a fun card the one in my sa 4200 dvb is 14 digit start 10 xxxx xxxx xx00 how do I calculate the corret HEX value from this? which part of number need to be used or used the serial number on the card? My card Rom11 serial is 12 digit 07 xxxx xxxx 07 and it is paired card how do you calculate the hex value? I know you might say read the card but open the pair card in Nagra and the IRD 8 dig hex number doesnt match any. any one has any idea. Thanks Thanks Last edited by sat2008; 19-01-09 at 09:50 PM. |

Im assuming its the Cam ID your looking for?? If so...
Open up windows calculator( will be on dec as default).. start, programs, accesories, calculator.. Then put the number on the card in, the first number wont input cause its a 0, but all the rest, apart from the last 2 on the card. ie.0612345678. Then hit the hex key & it will give you the Cam id of the card. Regards, Beatbox

I am actualy looking for IRD number
shouldnt this number match the nagra serial no. in th eng menu I know pace boxes show the nagra in hex in eng menu but SA 4200 box has 14 dig as I explain on my post what do you do with this nagra serial no?I've just calculate the card number as you posted and that is different then actual hex I read in the nagra edit program shouldnt they match? bit confused thanks Last edited by sat2008; 19-01-09 at 10:36 PM. |

sat2008 m8 open the windows calculator and click on veiw then click SCIENTIFIC make shore it says DEC on the left and then type the nagra serial starting with 10xxxx xxxx xx00 the last 2 numbers leave them out dont type them in to calculator then just click on HEX on the left hand side of calculator and you will have your ird number m8 hope it helps
