Just got my 7000 box out of hibernation where its been for 5 years since a gale blew the motorised dish away
. Where I am is too windy to try motorised again so I plan to use 2 dishes one on 28E to use for Sky FTA and another with dual LNB's (one on 19E and the other on Hotbird). Its been a long time but have got it networked in but it is still on the old image which is a Hydra one. Whats the best one out there currently that will go on a 7000, can I load a 7020 one as these seem to be updated more frequently.Cheers |

If you put a 7020 image on a 7000 your box would probably die, although since the 7020 image is approximately twice the size i doubt it would fit into the flash anyway
![]() Go for a Boxman CVS image in flash and something like Nabilosat Darkstar or SIF on the USB stick mate ![]() Avoid Gemini as it bricked my 7000 2 hours after putting it on. Might have been coincidence but i doubt it ![]() ![]() Nano

If you cant motorise, then you could use one dish, bu add more lnb`s.
Most of the major dish brands have multi lnb brackets.

I am just using up all the spare bits I have left, started with a single static dish, then went to Dual LNB's, then kept that plus went motorised a 80cm dish, then went to 1.1M motorised which was a step too far. The motor driving the 80cm got worn out by the gusty wind and ended up with too much backlash so that has now to be static. Its a Triax so will look for triple and quad LNB brackets.

Thats the box upgraded to Boxman dated 17 Jan 2009, front LCD auto updated to 1.10 as well and now rescanning the Sat. Will later load some images onto the USB stick and try them out.
