Hello, I am looking for information on how to receive channel 4 hd on my pc? i know what devices i need for the pc,

its just do i need a sky subscription card or?

any help from someone in the know would be greatly apreciated.....

You need a Sky viewing card,as Channel 4 is still FTV.
It can be a subscription or ex-subscription,or a FreesatfromSky card.

Hello, thanks for getting back to me, the reason i ask, is because i have a sky card that they sent me last week, and when i put it in my box, the channel 4 hd and bbc hd, when i try to watch, are saying i have to ring a number to receieve it?

Do you u know anything about this?

It can take up anything up to 72 hours for it to appear,if you are using it,in the Sky digibox.

Oh Ok thanks, have u heard of anyone on here that is able to watch the channel 4 hd on their pc?

You would need a satellite HD pci card with CAM slot or a CI slot addon

Hi, No, as they are freesat channels, you can just use a simple DVB -S tuner

like this one

Hauppauge Computer Works Ltd : WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2

as for receiving it from sky on a digibox, then i think you do need to subscribe for the hd subscription...
