help connect xbox live with 2 sky netgear routers

hi, i need help connecting my xbox 360 online to play xbl.

here is the siuation:
i currently have sky broadband max with a Netgear DG834GT router which is connected with wires to my 2 computers. i have the router downstairs in my study however i have my xbox upstairs in my bedroom and i cant exactly connect a ethernet wire to my xbox.

so what i need help with is to connect my xbox wirelessly, i have no laptop so i cant connect it that way nor can i take my desktop pc to my bedroom (must remain in study).

i have bought a cheap Netgear DG934G from ebay and want to use this as an alternative to the xbox wireless adaptor which is to expensive.

i was thinking would it be possible to leave my original router connected up with my pc's downstairs in my study and connect this new router via ethernet cable to the xbox which is in my bedroom?

can someone tell me how to set this up? last night i connected the Netgear DG934G to my xbox and i got DNS failed message (though plug and play would work)

please help!!!!!!
