DUP file problem

Hi
I have just downloaded underworld 157 and one of the files is a DUP file which I have never come across b4.
I have looked for information on how to open this but had no luck.
Can some one please help.

this is a file used by cas studio to program a diablo cam and cant be used on anything else.

This must be the first time you've programmed a Diablo Cam with an Underworld file if you haven't come across the .dup file extension.

programming the diablo cam with a cas 3 programmer
****************************************
first go to duolabs.com website and download the latest
cas studio software. at this time it's [v8.6b],and download
to a folder on your computer where it wont be deleated by
accident, next do not connect your [cas3] programmer to the computer usb port untill you have opened extracted all and run the cas studio software.when the cas studio software has fully loaded and finished, you will find a shortcut on your desktop for
the cas studio software loader panel, now connect your cas 3
programmer and click the shortcut on your desktop to open the
cas studio software loader panel. anwhen it opens you should
a green light at the bottom of the panel and a message saying
cas3 interface connected.waiting to start program, this shows the
cas3 programmer has been recognised and it's working.

[the next part is how to load a file on the diablo cam]

first download the latest diablo underworld file.and
open and remove the dup file ready to load on the cam

[1] connect the cas 3 to the computer usb port with the usb cable.
[2] enter the diablo cam in the cas 3 bottom cam slot.
[ take care when entering and removing the cam it is very easy to
damage the pins in the programmer dont be heavy handed]
[3] click the cas studio s/w shortcut on your desktop.
[4] the cas studio software panel will open and you will
see at the bottom of the panel a green light and the
cas 3 sn: no: showing the cas is connected and ready.
[5] at the top of the loader panel you will see a number of
buttons for various features on the loader software.
[6] click the cam module button.
[7] now you will see a number of boxes for differrent cams.
[8] click the diablo cam box.
[9] now a blue panel opens [duolabs cam] with a box for
the diablo cam on this blue panel, [click on it]
[10] now your on the panel to update your diablo cam.
[11] on this panel you will see a bar strip [file name]
at the right hand end of this strip you see a square
box with ... three dots in the square.
[12] click this square and a window will open for you to
find the diablo dup file to update the cam with. when
you find the dup file where you opened it you left click
the dup file and it will transfer to the file name bar on
the window, now click open or save on the window
and the file will transfer to the cas studio loader panel.
and you will see file update version ie:1.32 also you
see cam update type [all diablo] and a green light on
a start update box [it has a set of traffic lights in the box]
[13] next click the start update box and wait and watch the
file loadat the bottom of the panel you will see the
current opperation and the total opperation bars.
once the loading has started wait untill the large panel
loads all the files and folders etc: and the bar strips at
the bottom of the panel fully scan and in the large panel
it says the cam has loaded sucessfully. the file loading
takes a few minutes to load, just be patient, when all has
loaded click exit at the top of the loader panel, this is a
this is a box with a yellow diamond in it. now carefully
remove your cam and put it in your receiver and the
channels will now open.

on the diablo cam and to get you viewing the channels.
there are other functions for the diablo cam on the
loader panel ie: [cam file systems] and [cam disk functions].
these are to load keys and to re-format the cam.

HOW TO SET THE CONFIGURATION IN THE CAM MENU ******************************************
put the cam in the receiver slot and turn on
press menu and>go to common interface and you will
see the file name ie:underworld 1.57 highlight it
and click>ok on the next panel go to [4] configuration
and click>ok on the next panel set the configuration
to the following settings useing you vol and chn buttons
on your remote to scroll and change the menu's

[2] caids file [caids]
[3] PMT - [on]
[4] emulators [on]
[5] N2 AU [on]
[6] Emu priority [1:emu-2:cards]
[7] fixed cw [on]
[8] Smartcard mess [show never]
[9] adminstrator menu [ do not change anything in this ]

after you have set the cam config to the above settings
exit the menu and turn the receiver off and on again to
lock the settings in the cam menu,now the chns will open.

and you dont have to format the cam everytime you load
a new file the files overwrite one anouther
if you do format the cam you loose all your cam settings
and then you need to do the above again
