The Canadian provider on Nagra has been on Nagra 3 for about 3 months now and the US provider is in the process of moving over. Nagra 3 will be cracked in the foreseeable future and the programming for both will be wide open.

You heard it here first.

Also, of the 1,200 channels fully viewable and available to me at present, I hardly ever watch the so called "network channels". The channels I do watch either do not have any commercials at all or have commercials between shows. Further, of the 1,200 presently viewable channels, about 200 are in 1080i HD with no commercials, period.

Have to say that if it is cracked it would be around the net like wildfire. My opinion for what it's worth.

Well Satellite is still working in USA _tinyurl.com/b7d74e I would think that because of the high price, these boxes should be able to card share but thats illegal, so I wont talk about it

EDIT: I had a talk with the seller and they said that Canada is 80% up on nagra 3 and not hackable

EDIT 2: Its actually the fact that you get 80% of channels with an nFusion box

Not necessarily.

Nagra 2 had already been in Europe for almost 2 years and had not been cracked when the Canadian provider on nagra went from nagra 1 to nagra 2.

FTA boxes could then not pick up Canadian programming but US programming was still available and it was posted in many North American forums that nagra 2 was cracked but the fix would not be released till the US provider had transitioned over as well. The logic behind this was that if the US provider knew the system was cracked, it could pull back the conversion and save itself millions of dollars.

The Canadian system was down for several months till finally the US moved fully over to nagra 2 as well. Within 8 hours a fix was released that opened up both Canadian and US systems.

What I have posted here is nothing new or earth shattering and can be found on any of the many North American FTA forums. There is this thing called "Google" . . . try it . . .

Not sure what you mean by high prices. A Viewsat Ultra Lite or Captiveworks 700S are both $100 or less and programmed via a USB port using a flash drive. That is under £50. If you want to program your FTA receiver with a good old null modem cable ( comes with the receiver ) you can get away with paying about £30.

Not sure where your seller is from but Canada is 100% on nagra 3 and has been since the beginning of December and at present no hack has been released. I have never disputed this.

99% of the FTA forums in North America do not allow Internet card Sharing discussions or NFusion discussions. The US provider is still on nagra 2 and is fully 100% open - regular commercial TV, speciality channels, PPV movies, PPV events, porn, ethnic, etc using regular FTA boxes costing about £50 and software that is freely available. IP addresses are easily traced and anyone stupid enough to cardshare using IKS deserves to be caught.

I'm sorry to say that this is a British site, and in all honesty no one is really interested in what is happening over in the States or Canada

There have been rumors that nagra3, NDS, PowerVu and every other encryption has been hacked but nine times out of ten a rumor is all that it is

I'm sorry but i fail to see the point of these rumors. When you have hard proof these encryption have been cracked then its worth putting a post up about it.

The only thing that anybody has managed to do with Nagra3 is sort out the problem that stopped everybody from cardsharing with it and thats it.

Even if it was carcked you can guarantee that it would be on a card or a cam first before the hack went public to a receiver.

I see it this way that Nagra3 is still 100% secure and until i see it with my own eyes that is the way i shall continue to see it

Can I ask the Stateside members to use European terminology on this forum - it gets very confusing when you start to use terms like fta in a different context to what we are used to .

FTA = channels transmitted totally in the clear, NOT an ancrypted channel that can be watched for free
