I see that the last post regarding N3, Nag3, Nagra3 what ever term is applicable has not been discussed here since 31, January 2009, I find that interesting.
Here in the States most every forum you visit is swamped with questions and rumors on the subject. All sites you will find one who says " N3 has been cracked in Europe , some go as far as to say a country, ie: Spain, Germany. We here in the states were completely dark via N3 on 24 June, and have had nothing since, except IKS (Internet Key Sharing), which uses the internet to receive Dish or Bell, But even with Proxy servers is considered very dangerous and unsecured. What is the opinion in Europe and the UK as to the crack for N3, has there been any true forward movement in this matter. If this matter is not to be discussed here on your forums I request that it be removed by a mod please, I did not see anything in the rules that say it is not to be discussed. Like I said I would like to get the prospective from across the pond. Thanks! |

Nagra 3 hasnt been cracked anywhere in the world. I was reading up on nagra 3 on an american forum. They said it has been hacked in Europe via cardsharing. Some numpty must have immediately thought it was hacked in Europe via downloading some patches and then started the rumour which led to many people on American forums to think that Nagra 3 had actually fiully been hacked in Europe. If its hacked in Europe, its hacked everywhere. Wherever nagra 3 is supposedly "hacked" then that hack would be available all around the globe. And I was discussing nagra 3 in the cable side today

To my regret you seem to have taken offense and I am sorry for that! I have an alternative, always have had cable and thus I am not watching a Blank Black screen in hopes that it will somehow come on as it was before. I thank you for the information and hope that we can put this past and have healthy discussions from both sides of the Great Pond. ![]() ? |

well by no means a "freeloader" I am a Mod at several sites here in the states.
I wanted to get a fresh perspective on the problem at hand and rather then go with "rumors" " N3 Hacked in Europe" I wanted to find out for my self from a source in Europe. That being said I found this site and the rest is history. ![]() |

This is still rumor however thought it might be of some interest!
Here in the states we have a unit called the Viewsat not sure what the equivalent would be in Europe. the Name Cyphris is well respected in the Viewsat community as a spokesman for them. this is a C/P of his latest update regarding N3 and Viewsat! Here is the latest update straight from Cyphris himself Latest N3 Update (Aug 2009) ----------------------------- While there are many rumors flying around regarding the future of FTA and the status of the VS Coding team I can assure you the VS Coders haven't given up and are making progress each week. They recently made some good progress and getting closer to making VS users very happy. The team working on N3 are working very hard and are very determined as well as confident they will make a major breakthrough. Unlike many rumored claims that the VS Coders are trying to buy their way to glory or waiting for others to hack N3, I can assure you this is not the case and that they are doing this in house. A whole new group was formed specifically to tackle N3 and their confidence of making an N3 stand-alone solution a reality is why the VS Coding team has not gone nor will go the way of the internet key sharing. There is no exact time when this N3 solution will be ready but I can say they are very close now. Until it happens it is only a rumor however it is interesting! |
