we have a virgin 250 modem it stopped working yesterday its a chipped modem and we dont pay for it... its saying a dns fault? can anyone help please

Well its cloned not chipped so the person MAC you were cloning has been terminated so you need to use DHCP force to sniff a new MAC , only use ones with something in the config filename box...then input it into 250 Configurator and write it... reboot your PC and see if you have internet if not then repeat the process.

EDIT:

I take it you have tried clicking repair in network connections...rebooting modem and PC first right?

i dont know how to get into configuration let alone sniff a new mac, any chance you can explain please
