eurovox pvr

i am thinking of buying an eurovox pvr but have a couple of questions

1. i have heard on another forum that vm is moving over to nagravision 3 and are going to issue new cards early this year which will make eurovox not work. (has anyon hear his and how true is it)

2. does the eurovox pvr work just like sky + does? ie timeshift and recording features.

3. is the firmware upgrading just the same as the max v 2008
