Default cant find alot of channels on 28.2e

hi all. finally got a chance to align my dish to 28.2e. ive searched for the channels on my TM9100 super and i dnt seem to have any of the basic channels like bbc1 or itv. ive picked up loads of channels which it wont descramble. i know im on 28.2e though cos ive picked up loads of sky channels. i havent put any images on my TM9100 yet. is there anything i need to do to get those channels? thanx

Are you SURE you are on 28E - there are loads of Sky branded channels on 13E as well! (Sky Italia)

Yes you are aligned on 28E

Are you in the UK? The advise you need is location dependant

Please fill your correct location in the control panel - county or nearest large city or will do in the UK, nearest city in Europe, country elsewhere.

Also we need to know your dish size.

Ok excellent - that means your dish is plenty big enough and you should be getting all channels. First thing to check is that all the frequencies are loaded on the receiver - either do a network scan or manually input them

FlySat Eurobird 1 - Astra 2A/2B/2D @ 28.5/28.2° East

If that doesnt work then you may need to tweak the dish slightly

Yes, a Sky subscription.

Have you made sure the LNB skew is correct. I had a similar problem on one of the first setups I did, thats all it was down to.

Those signal qualities look pretty good to me.

You CANNOT get the Sky pay channels for free so dont even think about it..

If you've followed AS's advice and can't get the channels, i would try and skew the lnb abit more. Also check which transponder the box is looking at for the signal meters. Switch it to one for a chanel you want and can't get. Some transponders are stronger than others. The stronger the signal the less accurate you need to be.
