Ive recently purchased a ambit 255 modem flashed with haxorware,ive had a read through the cable modem bible & haynes manual but i cant see anything about setting it up??
I know you must get this question EVERY day but what do i do,im such a newbie ive only had a computer for 6 months & havent got a clue what to do,so if there is any other newbies out there what managed to set up there modem by the advice of others on here our advice would be VERY helpful..

Go easy on me please & remember ive not got the knowledge you people have got..lol

Use DHCPsniffer and you don't need 250 configurator with Haxorware.

What area are you in?

If your not in TW area, you can use some macs from DHCPsniffer as you get macs from a different ubr.

All you need to do is input a mac and maybe your pref download feq.

Im stoke on trent mate,ive download 250 configirator fixed,i type in a mac address,ds frequency config file,ffp ip & nothing happens..

What am i doing wrong??

What version of Haxorware do you have?

All you should have to input is the mac addy.

type in 192.168.100.1 and look for the rc version.....

Have i got to connect my flashed modem to my network??
