Default Ordering Live events on chipped box?

I have a chipped NTL box that can still access on demand features. So im wondering if i order a live event on sky box office will i be able to view this event?
Will virgin know i have ordered this event? and probably more importantly will i be charged for it?

Cheers

if you order somthing from a stb yes virmin will know abot it as that is the nature of ppv now (its called on demand) if you can orfer somthing that means that your box is communicating with virmin while it is switched on constantly. it would be a good idea to stop the box communicating by cutting what is known as "talkback" or the "return path"

SM189, how would you feel if someone was taking money from your pocket and running up bills in your name??, you wont get charged for PPV unless the box is subbed to you, but the person who it was originally subbed too will get the bill, you already get every channel for free why be greedy and use the OD service?
Seems to me ppl just dont care these days about being careful, maybe when you get a knock at the door and arrested and charged with fraud (carries 5 year sentence) and theft of CC service you will pay attention.
