dont get mine till monday
but yes you have to download the latest firmware then conect your box to your pc with a null modem cable then run the software when finished then rescan and bingo all channels

Yes, flashing the box is also known as updating it with the latest firmware, if you have not done this yourself and the seller did not specifically tell you it has the latest firmware on it, then its very likely you will need to update it to get anything.

Find out what version you have currently got installed, it should be in the menu under sys info, or system - Away from the keys till 7pm now, catch you then.
