i cannot get into debug mode by using the known sequence and i have just found out why.

the 3.6 version of sammy has a different debug sequnce! power on, when on ld.20 hold down till ld.40, then it will carry on booting till AP.52 wait for a few seconds then jtag!

did not know about the "AP.52 wait for a few seconds then jtag!" but now i do

can just wait till it boots fully, on stream and displays a channel number on the front. then jtag. works everytime

As said above you just tagg on stream and failing that in EM.

Hi m8 im doing a 2100c too and iv been messing with it for day. iv tried the following methods:
1.holding down on ld 20 till hits 52 without feed get disconected cable or cant put into background mode.
2. going into eng menu still no luck although i got it connected twice and failed to get numbers due to bytes not entered yea that my luck.
Im running 3_6V_04 in Oldham area on NTL if anyone can get me the bytes pls im newbie.

anyone got anysuggestion for the jtag problem did try to do it with feed in and let load channels but no luck just get background error with bke and sdt and ocd

pls some1 help me plz

Exactly what error is displayed on the screen when you try and connect ur jtag m8?

well on tv it show eng menu and on pc sometimes it says cable disconnected or when i get a good connection its says cant put target into background mode

Just boot box up and put it on bbc 1, then j tag ,bytes are 0x00895934 for pure
