Is the picture quality much better than the eurovox max on SD?

The picture quality on the eurovox 7000 is fantastic both on HD and in upscaling the normal channels .... have had it for a couple of months now and would say its the bees knees .

You will get all HD channels that virmin broadcast mate including ESPN HD

The HD Channels are included in the XL tv package from VM (AFAIK there is no 'HD pack' for their tv range), so, you won't need to subscribe no.

It would be a good idea however to at least pay a minimum subscription as this will keep your feed 'live' and the cable company broadcasting, simples!
