whats the crack?
is it only a take it in to the shop affair, or can it be done through codes or whatever?

its on a new sortof network so you need to take it to the shop , or my advice is get a turbo sim off ebay @ £5 , put your sim in anyfone and itll work unlocked or not.

The N95 is based on the BB5 platform and there isn't a free solution available for these as yet unless you own a BB5 Unlocker Box (highly unlikely unless you unlock a lot of Nokia phones). Take it into your local phone shop and they should unlock it for around £20. You would be better off getting it unlocked because you don't have to mess around with Turbo SIMS or similar then.

well, unfortunately the ONLY way of unlocking this phone is with a dm3 machine, 30k's worth.
and high street shops will not own one.

im getting mine done for £45, unlocked, debranded and new original covers.

expensive yes, but should be a brand new mobile when done.

if your mobile phone is on the vodafone network i can supply a unlocking code for £8

the bloke in the shop let me down, he didnt go to get it unlocked.
so im back to square one.

anyone got a dm3 machine i borrow for 5 seconds?

got it sorted, cost me 40 quid with a new origional cover.
not too bad i suppose.

but what i have noticed is, the date and time setting dont save when the phone is turned off and back on.
so i have to set them each day.
ive read it could be a battery problem or a firmware problem, so if anyone who has more knowledge could let me know the answer id appreciate it.
