Hi guys....all was fine with my Eurovox V box since the last time i had to put new codes in but in the last week i have found that SKY 1 and SKY Sports 1, 2 and 3 have gone tits up on me. All pictures are broken up etc. Some SKY channels are still fine !

I have not altered anything at all before this happened and yes i have read the forum posts on the odd channel going down and have tried doing a manual scan on the frequency on the dodgy channels was on but no joy as yet

Any advise would be welcome

It might be just a temporary problem with just those channels mentioned sinnce the others are ok it rules out signal problems in general,one thing you could try is a variable attenuator I suppose and use it as a fine tuner so to speak .....

have you checked your providers site to see if there are any local issues

Mine did this - was loose cabeling... go round and make sure nothings come loose!

Thanks for the advise....i did do a fast install scan. Got my Sky sports 1 back but 2 and 3 not working.

Just keep persevering,doing scans at different times,eventually you will get them back,you could of course always do a deep scan .......

Just put the fecking new firmware in and you won't need to input codes all the time....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

i have the same problem with sky sports and setanta taking turns to have a corrupted screen did you managed to get it sorted i have a eurovox max v cheers
