Hi All..
After my problems with the motorized setup I have decided to get a dish for 28.2 and keep my 1m Orbital Dish for 13 hotbird. Both dishes will be fixed - and I will have a length of coax running from each dish into the house from each one. I have 1 dreambox receiver. My question is, is there a switch type device or splitter type device I can connect the 2 coax cables to and run one input into my dreambox to switch between the 28.2 and 13 satellites?? The only other way i know how to handle it is switch the coax cables into the dreambox when I want to watch anything on either satellite. thanks!! ![]() Kev |

You just need a DiSEqC Switch. I have 6 lnb's on my 1.1m triax, 4 into 1 switch connected to tuner A and 2 into another switch connected to tuner B.
I would suggest placing the switch behind the dishes as you may want to add a second or even third lnb to your 1m dish. This way you will only need to run a patch cable between the dish and the switch for each LNB, rather than running several lengths of CoAx into the house you would only need 1. Rick |
