Hi all,

Apologies, very new to this. I have recently bought a 'TheBox Super' but now do not receive the channels (bar the usual 1-5). Details:

API Ver: 8.00e_E
Boot ver: 8.0
20 June 2008

I have tried a couple of the thing suggested on here EMU is on etc but it just keeps updating ona $ channel - is his normal and how long should I wait?

Please could somebody suggest how I can get the channels back? Thanks for your help.

you need to check if the EMU is turned on

menu
1570

and if its not then turn it on and try again
do a automatic scan

if that dont work it could be a firmware issue
flash it with the new firmware
i dont think i can post a link but its easily found mate version 8.02E
because the other firmware doesnt change the keys automaticaly
has to be put in manualy

EMU is on but no change it just scans all the time on a $ channel. Is it easy to link to PC as it does not have USB?

If you got it from new you will need to put firmware on it or you will not get anywhere , deja vu toolbar and downloads next to keys .

without this on you will get no where m8

and you need a null modem cable m8
there female to female 9 pin
can get them from alot of places
i paid 4 pound from a shop in town
need a com port in your pc too (motherboard com port)
is easier

You'll need a "null modem" 9 pin female to female cable to connect box to pc
